Paris is seeing the hottest summer in 100 years so the we figure the best way to cool down is with lemonade.
- 2 tsp white sugar
- Half a grilled lemon cut in quarters
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- 1 pinch himalayan pink salt
- 40ml gin
- Top with soda
First grill the lemons on bbq then muddle with sugar. Add all other ingredients except soda. Add ice and churn together. Top with soda, garnish and refresh!
We recently had the pleasure of working our first wedding bar of the summer! As a welcome drink we made these lovely Meadowsweet French 75s. Meadowsweet is a wild edible flower, also know as Yarrow or Mead Wort. Traditionally it is used as a medicine but it's actually a very tasty floral herb to use for infusions. We infused a honey syrup with the meadowsweet and lavender for a truly flowery drink.
- 30ml gin (we used Botanist)
- 20ml fresh lemon juice
- 15ml wild flower infused honey syrup
- 1 dash orange bitters
- Top with champagne or prosecco
Shake all ingredients except bubbles then fine strain into a chilled coup and top with your fizz of choice. We bought those mini pegs from a craft store, they're perfect for effortlessly beautiful garnishes.
For the wild flower honey steep 1/2 cup picked lavender and meadow sweet in 1 cup hot water for 25 mins then strain and mix with 1 cup runny honey.
